Recapture the atmosphere of a bygone era at Giza with a visit to the amazing Sphinx and one of the seven wonders of the world - the majestic Pyramids. Experience the legacy of the thousands of years of history by climbing up into one of these impressive burial chambers or otherwise enjoy a ride on the famous Egyptian camels.

A visit to the papyrus factory will give you an insight into the secrets of this special craft, then you will return to Port Said via Cairo where it will be your last chance to absorb the atmosphere of the city of the Egyptian Capital.

We drive form the port of haifa along the beautiful coastal motorway, which follows the 200 year old Way of the Sea. On the way we catch glimpses of Israel, old and new, as we pass the cities of Netanya, Herzelia and Tel-Aviv.

We arrive in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. After passing by Rachel's tomb we visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto, built over Jesus' birthplace. Following our visit at the church and at a local souvenir shop we process to  a restaurant in Bethlehem where we can enjoy a tasty lunch.

After lunch we depart from Bethlehem and drive to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Entering through Jaffa Gate, we begin a walking tour of the old city. We visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha, where daily prayers are chanted by many Christian denominations over the place where Jesus was crucified and buried.

Our tour continues through the exotic oriental bazaar to the Wailing Wall. On the way we stop for a panoramic view of the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock and Al Aksa Mosques.

We then process to the Mount of Olives to visit the Garden of Gethsemane with its beautiful Church of All Nations.

We finally drive through modern Jerusalem where we can enjoy views of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), the Museum of Israel and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed, before beginning our return journey back to Haifa.

Departure by coach from the port to visit Lindos, one of the most popular sights of Rhodes with the Ancient History and the Acropolis. Lindos is a small picturesque village with traditional white houses and is situated between two natural harbours.

We will walk through the narrow cobbled streets of the village up to the Acropolis to visit the Temple of the Lindian Athena.

A visit to the church of Panayia Tsambikas will follow, and on the way back to the city of Rhodes we will visit a traditional pottery. Free time at the old city of Rhodes for a walk and shopping.
